Skin concern
Acne
Clear, calmer skin — through medical-grade treatments, not another tube of cream.
01
What actually causes acne.
Acne is rarely about cleanliness. It develops when four things happen together: the sebaceous glands produce excess oil, the lining of the pore sheds dead cells too quickly, the resulting plug becomes colonised by C. acnes bacteria, and the immune system responds with inflammation.
Hormones, genetics, stress, certain medications, and diet all influence one or more of those four steps. That's why two people with the same skincare routine can have completely different skin, and why a treatment plan has to be matched to your particular biology, not borrowed from a friend.
02
Why drugstore routines stall.
Most over-the-counter products work on one of the four mechanisms — usually exfoliation or oil control — at concentrations safe to use without supervision. They can help mild acne. They cannot reach deep cystic lesions, suppress sebum production, or address the inflammatory component meaningfully.
Medical treatments do. Lasers and light devices target the bacteria and inflammation directly. Peels reset the pore lining. Combined with a tailored at-home regimen, this is how we actually clear skin — and keep it clear.

The consultation
What to expect when you come in.
We begin with a detailed skin analysis — the type and depth of lesions you have, any scarring or pigmentation, and a full history of what you've tried.
From there we build a layered plan: in-clinic treatments scheduled across two to three months, paired with a prescription-strength home regimen, and check-ins every four weeks so we can adjust as your skin responds.
Active acne is a moving target. Our approach is iterative — we expect to refine the plan as we go, and we'll tell you honestly when something isn't working.
