What it is
Hydrates from the dermis up. Subtle, cumulative.
Originally developed by Dr. Michel Pistor in 1952, mesotherapy uses a series of microinjections to deliver hyaluronic acid, vitamins, peptides, and amino acids directly into the upper dermis — where topicals can't reach. The effect builds over a series; most patients book three to four sessions spaced two to four weeks apart.
Is it for you?
A fit for you if…
- Skin that looks dull, dehydrated, or fatigued
- Early fine lines and texture concerns where injectables feel like too much
- Patients who tolerate microinjection well and want gradual, natural improvement
What to expect
- Pre-care: avoid blood thinners where medically appropriate.
- Session: 30 minutes after topical numbing.
- After: pinpoint redness for a few hours. Possible small bruises.
FAQ
What's the difference from a regular facial?
Topicals can only penetrate so far. Mesotherapy delivers ingredients to the dermis where they actually work.
How many sessions?
Three to four, then maintenance every three to six months.
Does it hurt?
Topical numbing makes most sessions well-tolerated — sensation, not pain.
