What it is

Skin tightening is rarely one treatment — it's a layered plan. We use radiofrequency, microneedling-RF, and physical lifting with sutures depending on the depth and direction of laxity we're addressing.

For the deepest non-surgical lifting, Ultherapy reaches a layer these modalities don't. See the dedicated page if surgical-depth lift is the goal.

Inside this treatment

#forma

Forma — radiofrequency, no downtime

Forma uses bipolar radiofrequency to heat the dermis to a controlled therapeutic temperature. The skin enters a remodelling phase that builds new collagen over six to twelve weeks.

Comfortable, repeatable, no downtime. Usually delivered as a series of six sessions, then maintenance every few months.

#fractora

Fractora — microneedles plus RF

Fractora combines fractional microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered to depth. It addresses skin texture, mixed scar depths, and tightening together.

Three to four sessions spaced six weeks apart, with one to three days of pinpoint redness after each.

#thread-lifts

PDO thread lifts

Dissolvable PDO sutures placed beneath the skin physically lift tissue today, and stimulate collagen along the thread's path over the year that follows.

Forty-five-minute session. Subtle, immediate lift; the collagen-building effect continues for nine to twelve months.

FAQ

  • Which tightening treatment is right for me?

Depends on the laxity depth, downtime tolerance, and budget. Forma for steady, gentle build; Fractora for combined texture and tightening; threads for immediate physical lift; Ultherapy for the deepest non-surgical option.

  • Can these be combined?

Yes — and they often are. A typical plan layers Forma for maintenance with one anchor treatment (Fractora, threads, or Ultherapy) per year.

  • Is there downtime?

Forma: none. Fractora: 1–3 days of pinpoint redness. Threads: mild bruising possible for a few days.
