What it is

Re-sculpting the buttocks through exercise and diet alone is difficult — diet can't target a specific area and workouts won't significantly increase muscle mass on the behind. Non-surgical butt lifts use biostimulators to make the area rounder, more contoured, and fuller.

We use both Sculptra and Radiesse to achieve butt lift goals.

Inside this treatment

#radiesse

Radiesse® butt lift

Radiesse is a dermal filler composed of calcium hydroxylapatite — similar in composition to the material of bone. It has a thicker consistency than typical fillers and fills areas of volume loss while providing a scaffold to stimulate collagen growth.

Radiesse can address: flat buttocks, hollowed areas, stretch marks, and cellulite. Treatment uses a needle or cannula with optional local anesthetic; patients can drive and return to usual activities immediately. Bruising, soreness, and redness are common and typically subside within a week. Some patients require up to three treatments spaced three to four months apart.

Precare: avoid foods and supplements that prolong bleeding to minimize bruising. Postcare: avoid strenuous exercise and heavy lifting for 24–48 hours; ice the area; Tylenol for any pain (avoid NSAIDs).

#sculptra

Sculptra® butt lift

Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid biostimulant. When injected, it kick-starts the body's natural collagen production. Sculptra is injected into areas such as hip dips to encourage collagen production, which over time produces visible volume improvement in the treated area.

Sculptra vs Radiesse: Radiesse adds direct volume as a filler in addition to stimulating collagen, with results seen sooner since the viscosity is thicker. Radiesse lasts on average 12–15 months; Sculptra on average 24 months.

What to expect

  • About 60 minutes per session.
  • Gradual, natural-looking improvement — change builds session to session.
  • Most patients notice change after the first or second session.
  • Radiesse results last up to 12 months (longer for buttocks specifically per the original protocol). Sculptra results last up to 24 months. Maintenance treatments extend results.

FAQ

  • Am I a good candidate?

A patient is a good candidate if they don't have enough fat for a fat-grafting butt lift but want a more augmented appearance — healthy, with realistic expectations.

  • Is there downtime?

No downtime. Slight swelling and bruising at the treatment site may occur and typically resolves within the first week.

  • When will I see results?

Treatments are provided in one-month intervals. Patients notice gradual improvement after the first or second session.

  • Sculptra or Radiesse — which do I choose?

Radiesse for sooner, more direct volume; Sculptra for a longer-lasting, gradual rebuild. We recommend at consultation.
